All around us, and perhaps you are in the middle of it too, people are working hard on themselves. Healing is a word that triggers the …. out of me and I understand why that is; the word presupposes that there’s something wrong with you. And the truth is, there isn’t! You are perfect, exactly as you are right now. You don’t need to lose weight, you don’t need to heal from child hood trauma, and you don’t need to let go of your ex. You don’t need to learn how to be a better mother or father and you don’t need to take course after course to learn how to communicate non-violently.

If you are inspired to do these things because they FEEL GOOD, then do it. But when you think you have to, because you believe that there’s something wrong with you then please STOP IT.

The idea you have around the thing that you want to change, is the very basis for the perceived problem being there. You know that everything is NOW, right? So when everything is created from the now, it means that also any perceived problem is re-created in the now. It means that if you can really feel joy and bliss and happiness in this moment, and all the moments to come from moment by moment you automatically choose the version of you that has always felt whole, and happy and light.

It seriously is that simple. And if at first you don’t succeed [with doing that ] dust yourself off and try again. You can dust it off, and try again, and again, and again. Yes, that’s from the Aaliyah song from the nineties I believe.

A simple way to feel the perfection of yourself is closing your eyes, turning off all possible distractions and just feel into your body. Feel how you are perfect now. Feel the light that you are and imagine yourself lighting up brighter and brighter and even brighter. Seeing yourself as your own child, which in fact you are, you are the creation of you. You create yourself anew from moment to moment with your thoughts, your feelings and your beliefs about yourself.

And this is all you need to do. There’s no need to change, there is only a request to accept. To accept ALL of you, exactly how you are RIGHT NOW. You are perfect, you always have been and you always will be. It can not be any different, and it never was.
